How to Post Pictures to wahoo.seatoad net

This question comes up a lot in emails so I thought I''d put it in a place everyone can read it.

First off, there are two ways to post pictures to this site. You can post them to the Members Pics page ( available from the Multimedia menu. Or you can include them in a forum post.

Both methods require that you be a registered member of the site and logged in. To do that:

1. You can register here:

or here: (look for the Register link)

2. Once registered, you can log in here: (scroll down to look for the login/out link in the right column)

Or here: (look for the Login link)

How to Post Pictures to the Members Pics Page

 1. Once you''ve logged in you''re ready to upload pics. The pics must be on your computer''s hard drive. Assuming they are, go to this page (available from the site's Multimedia menu):

2. On that page, click the Browse button to browse to and select the first pic you want to upload. You can also enter a comment to go with the pic (the comment will appear as text below the posted picture). Then click Upload.

That's it. You're done! Repeat steps  1 – 2  to upload additional pics.  You pics will appear on the Members Pics page (

Note: Pictures  that you upload do not appear immediately. They go into a moderation queue where I have to approve them. It's a bummer but necessary step to keep porn and other spam off the site.

How to Include Pictures in a Forum Post

 1. Unlike pics you upload to the Members Pics page, to include pictures in a forum post they must exist on an internet server already (e.g., a flicker account, or facebook, or photobucket, or your nephew's web site, or something like that). The one place they can't be is one your computer's hard drive.

2. When making a forum post, click the Image button in the post tool bar (it's the button that's a picture of a tree). You'll be prompted for the image URL (the internet address of the image).

That's it. You''re done!
