Hi - I am a new user and am looking for info. I have a 1987 1650 that I keep in the water next to my floating home. It sits outside with just the console and seats covered, so it gets rain in it. I have a bilge pump, but it keeps getting dirty (no surprise there) and stopping. Has anyone else had this problem and come up with an idea to keep gunk from getting in there and jamming the pump? I was thinking of maybe some kind of screen over the bilge instead of the mahogany cover, but if you have been here before...

Thanks!
